Assignment 3

The photographer that inspired me the most was Deanna Dikeman. She took photos of the wardrobes of a few people to show culture and the way people neglect certain clothes that still have function. The main thing that stuck out to me the most was the color in her photographs. I chose to photograph the rows of food in my apartment. After this assignment, I feel that the food in someone's pantry can tell a lot about who they are.

I took this photo about 2 years ago at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. I know it's really grainy but it took many tries to get this photo!

I'm a graphic design major but I've always had an interest in photography. I took a black & white film photography class in high school, as well as one last year here at UWM. I've helped my best friend get into it as well, so I already know quite a bit. I hope this class can help me learn even more!
