I took this photo about 2 years ago at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. I know it's really grainy but it took many tries to get this photo!I'm a graphic design major but I've always had an interest in photography. I took a black & white film photography class in high school, as well as one last year here at UWM. I've helped my best friend get into it as well, so I already know quite a bit. I hope this class can help me learn even more!
Thanks for sharing Tessa! Even if you weren't pleased with the "grainy" look of this image I have to say I quite like it... It almost looks painterly because of the texture... I'm looking forward to seeing some new work from you once we start shooting!

ReplyDeleteLove the graininess in the background. Adds a wonderful contrast between foreground and background. Painter is probably the best adjective for it overall.
